USF Wind Ensemble
On Sunday, Nov 15 at 2:00 pm the USF Wind Ensemble continues our celebration of America's 250th anniversary with, "The Great Melting Pot", a concert showcasing our country's rich and beautiful musical traditions. We will open with Kimberly Archer's "Fanfare Politeia", followed by Nancy Galbraith's "Febris Ver", which will be conducted by USF's Assistant Director of Bands, Dr. Suzanne Charney. Next up are two works that have won major composition contests, Benjamin Horne's sublime "Spiritual Suite", conducted by graduate student Chase Deases, and Zhou Tian's stunning "Sinfonia". We finish with rising superstar, Dennis Llinas' exhilarating "Un Cafecito", a brilliant homage to growing up in Miami. We hope to see you there.
